Dismantling:

1. Lift the car (use a vehicle ramp if available).
2. Remove the wheels.
3. Disconnect pad wear sensor wires if fitted.
4. Untie the brake hose and use a brake pedal depressor to hold the brake pedal down to shut off the system.
5. Dismantle the brake caliper.
6. Dismantle the brake disc and brake pads if you wish to replace them.
